Medieval Longsword classes -

If you would like to take regular classes in Medieval longsword, you can join Aurora at Toronto Historical Combatants on Thursday nights at 7 at 388 Carlaw ave in Artist Play Studio. Armoured Seminars -

Aurora will be hosting regular armoured seminars on occasional Saturdays in the east end of Toronto. If you are interested in being informed next time one is running, please enter your information in the form below. ( Your email will not be used for anything else)

Cost -

$30 plus tax for non THC members

$20 plus tax for registered THC members

This seminar will be an opportunity for fighters who are already accustomed to wearing armour to hone their skills, improve techniques and strategy as well as establish specific areas that need polishing for practice at home.

This event is also open to people who have at least one year experience with longsword and would like to begin learning armoured techniques for their eventual move into harness (or to see if they like it)

This workshop is not for beginners.

Armoured attendees should bring a minimum of, longsword, helmet, gauntlets, breastplate and chainmail (arms and legs are optional) a standard fencing helmet is also a good idea. A wooden or plastic dagger and some sort of waist suspension is a great idea as well if possible but we will have some available to loan.

Non-armoured participants must bring a fencing mask, and gauntlets, and a sword appropriate for Fiore style armizare (not a sport feder) if they have it. There will be a few available to loan if not. Please register below. Once you register, please send $33.90 to info@handmaderevolution.org by e-transfer to hold your space in the class. Class is limited to 12 participants. If the event should not run for any reason, your money will be refunded.

Otherwise the payment is non- refundable unless you cannot attend due to illness, in which case I will refund 50 percent (Please stay home if you are sick)

Once you register we will send you an electronic waiver form to sign a min of a week before the event.
