Kids, March Break, Craft camp

  • Google Calendar ICS

This March break I will be offering a kids craft camp, from 9AM to 1PM from Tuesday the 15th to Friday the 18th.

The cost will be $180 for the week.  If additional childcare is needed for the afternoons please let me know and I will be happy to try and work with you around that. If there is enough interest I can arrange for camp to go through the afternoons as well.

The camp will cover basic hand and machine sewing techniques and may look at basic embroidery or chainmail based on time and interest.

It will be appropriate for kids from age 9 to 12 and will take place in the west end, near Queen and Bathurst.

Aurora Simmons has years of experience in crafting and craft training. She teaches to kids and adults on a regular basis and loves sharing the joy she finds in crafting with others. She works professionally as a goldsmith and seamstress and also does leather-working and embroidery for fun and professionally.

The camp will teach kids craft skills as well as encouraging them in problem-solving and creative-thinking. Crafting is incredibly empowering and can be very helpful for kids and teens in dealing with stress, increasing hand-eye coordination and empowering them in dealing with the physical world.

To secure your child a spot in the craft camp, please make a downpayment of $90 by hitting the Buy Now button.  Please feel free to email me if you have additional questions at info@handmaderevolution.org or you can call me at 416-523-1625
