DIY medieval pouch kit
DIY medieval pouch kit
This is a kit to make your own medieval style belt pouch for reenacting, cosplay, larp or just for every day wear. Its great for 14th/ early 15th century medieval impressions and is based on an existing historical belt pouch.
You can choose to buy the barebones kit, for people who already have their own leather working tools, or the delux kit which provides everything you need to finish the kit yourself except leather polish and a scalpel. I also sell finished pouches, on my etsy.
The delux kit is pre-dyed and punched and comes with leather sewing needles, the appropriate thread, and instructions. You will need to provide yourself with a scalpel and leather polish. Once you order I can recommend places to purchase those items.
You can choose your preferred colour for the delux kit.
The barebones kit comes with the purse components and instructions only, including the leather and buckle. You must dye, punch and tool the pieces yourself. Only recommended for experienced leather workers.
to make the barebones kit you need -
- coach harness needles
- a hand punch
- heavy thread
- awl
- scalpel
- leather polish
- leather dye

- rubber cement (optional but recommended)

This leather is veg tanned so you could potentially emboss patterns on the lid if you order the barebones kit.
