Handmade Faire Vendor Application

Welcome to the handmade Toronto handmade FairE

When : Saturday June 4th 2022

Where: St George’s By the Grange, 30 stephanie Street, Toronto.

Cost for Vendors: 110 + HST

The Handmade Faire is an event for artisans by artisans. The goal is to bring together local artists and craftspeople in an elegant and happening outdoor space to give us more opportunities to connect with clients, and a supportive community of fellow creatives.

The event will include 20 to 30 vendors, in a variety of creative disciplines.

Each vendor has a 6 foot by 6 foot space allotted to them. You and your table must fit in your space. So your table should not be more than 6 foot by 4 foot so you can also fit in the space. We have a few tables available for rent at a cost of 20 dollars each. The will be on a first come first serve basis.

We recommend something like these folding tables from Canadian Tire if you don’t already have one. Either the 6 foot or 4 foot size will work if you need additional display space.

This is an outdoor show, and tents will not be provided. You may bring your own free standing tent but you may end up sharing it with another vendor due to space concerns. We can help you arrange price sharing for tents between vendors.

Applications will be selected based on quality of work, uniqueness, and variation in styles. We accept applications in categories such as:

Fine art, jewellery, sculpture, and textiles. All items must be handmade and relatively local.

The fee to apply is $10 which is non refundable. Once we accept your application we will send you an invoice for the vendor fee. If you do not pay within 2 days we will give your spot to the next applicant.

Deadline to apply is May 9th

You will be notified of your acceptance by May 16th

We plan to have an active social media advertising campaign on Instagram and Facebook. As well as local advertising blogs. We will ask participants to reach out to their network as well, to invite people to the event.

Regarding Covid. We reserve the right to cancel the event up to 2 weeks before June 4th if Covid case rates are too high. In such an event we would fully refund you for your vendor fee. We will ask vendors to mask as much as possible at the event, though we will not require it for entry.

For you application to be processed you must pay the 10 dollar application fee.
