14th centutry kirtle pattern/ garment
This is a 14th century kirtle pattern based on original art and extant garment fragments from the period. It is designed to be fitted with laces on both sides and buttoned sleeves. It can be made in linen or light weight wool. It is designed to be made unlined.
You can select a custom pattern or a generic pattern which you will have to size for yourself.
If you order the custom pattern you will be sent a measurement chart to fill in and I will provide you with a muslin pattern and written instructions sent by mail. This is not a beginner project. It is recommended that you have some sewing experience. Most of it can be sewn on machine but some detailing is completed by hand. Links to instructional videos for the hand sewing components on youtube will be provided once you order.
Pattern comes with lacing aiglets in the colour of your choice.
If you order a finished garment it will take between 1 to 3 months to complete. Once you order you will be asked to choose a colour.
